NWUCert Recognition, Exemption and Certification Process

Recognition, Exemption and Certification Process

NWUCert does not simply sell certificates. We review documents, evaluate prior learning, determine eligible exemptions and require missing module completion where evidence is insufficient.

Our Core Principle

Evidence creates exemption. Missing evidence requires training. Certification follows evaluation.

Applicants may receive exemptions only for modules, skills or learning outcomes supported by official and verifiable documentation. If sufficient evidence is not provided, the applicant must complete the relevant modules through the NWUCert program.

1. Application Submission

The applicant selects a certification pathway and submits personal details, desired program, existing certificate status and professional background information.

2. Document Review

NWUCert reviews submitted certificates, training records, curriculum documents, official experience evidence and supporting materials.

3. Evidence-Based Exemption

Exemptions may be granted only for modules supported by official and verifiable documentation. Unsupported modules must be completed.

4. Missing Module Completion

If evidence is incomplete, the applicant completes required modules, quizzes and assessments through the NWUCert learning platform.

5. Final Assessment

Where required, the applicant completes final competency assessment, certification preparation or additional review before approval.

6. Certification Decision

Certification is issued only after review, completion and approval. Payment or application submission does not automatically guarantee certification.

Accepted Evidence Examples

  • Existing vocational or professional certificate
  • Official curriculum or module list
  • Training duration or hours document
  • Assessment or examination record
  • Employer letter or official work experience document
  • Trade body, chamber, association or professional registration
  • Business registration, license or activity document where relevant
  • Official apprenticeship, journeyman or mastership document where applicable

Important Limitations

Photos, videos, portfolio samples and client references may support an application, but they do not replace official documentation for module exemption.

NWUCert professional certificates do not replace any government license, statutory permit, trade license, regulated professional qualification, safety authorization or work permit required in a specific country or jurisdiction.
